TREMOLITE, M-650. White
to brownish, coarse fibrous to bladed columnar.
Check for availability.

TREMOLITE, M-650A. California.
Scattered crystals and acicular, radiating
masses in gray marble. Check for availability. 

TURQUOISE, M-655. Nevada. 
Blue to green seams and masses in
light gray chert or limonitic rock.   Check.

ULEXITE. M-660.  California. Fibrous.
satiny white masses.

VANADINITE, M-665. Arizona. 1 to 2
mm orange-red crystals scattered and clustered
over rock faces.  Check.

VERMICULITE, M-670.  1 to 5 or 6 mm
flakes (average 2-3 mm) in a plastic bag.
Expands when heated. 


VONSENITE, M-675. California. Dark
green to black crystalline masses. Similar to
pageite. 

WITHERITE, M-680. England.
White to gray or buff crystalline masses.

WOLLASTONITE, M-685. 
California. Pale green to white very coarse
bladed masses. 

"ZEOLITE", see under ANALCITE, STILBITE,
CHABAZITE (sorry, we're still using the old term "zeolite".  We will

fix this at some point, but everyone seems to still know what we're

talking about.)

 

ZINCITE (with Franklinite, Calcite and Willemite), M-688.  

New Jersey.  Check.


ZIRCON, M-690. Canada. Well formed light to medium brown
euhedral single crystals, or euhedral, light brown crystals in an
amphibole syenite matrix.  Check.
