SCHIST through TACTITE

BIOTITE SCHIST, ME-60H.  Idaho.
Nearly black, fine grained, schistose biotite with occasional quartz grains.  

Check for availability.

GRAPHITE SCHIST, ME-60I. Cost A. 
A schistose graphite with some accompanying country rock laced through out. Check, some new material.

SERPENTINE, ME-65. Cost A. California
Greenish-black, very fine grain.  

SERPENTINE, ME-65A. Cost E. California
Greenish-black, very fine grain. Some (up to all) pieces exhibit light green slickensides.  


SKARN see TACTITE

SLATE,, ME-70. 
Exhibits typical slate parallel parting.
Medium to dark gray (red and light green sometimes available).  

CHLORITOID SLATE, ME-70A. 
California. Numerous 2-3mm chloritoid flakes in a dark gray slate.  Check for availability.

CHIASTOLITE SLATE, ME-70B. California.
Chiastolites around 3-4mm in cross section showing distinct cross patterns
in a dark gray slate.  Check for availability.  Some larger sizes available for limited time.

TACTITE (SKARN),, ME-80. Nevada.
Coarse grained tremolite, garnet and residual limestone.  Check.
