Earth Revealed............... And Crystals found as never before. During the process of mining for gold
ore at Barrick's Goldstrike Mine, a huge underground cave system was intersected. In a hidden
side vault, that could only be accessed by crawling flat on all fours up a 45 degree, 12 foot, jagged
chimney that opened up into a 8 x 12 x 6 treasure room of golden barite crystals up to 8 inches on an edge.
This was truly one of the most awe inspiring sights I have personally ever witnessed.
